Love's Harvest 2010
Helping the rural poor of Malawi grow the food they need on their own land.
Within two hours of landing safely in Lilongwe, the Love’s Harvest team enjoyed the hospitality of the newly consecrated Bishop of the Diocese of Lake Malawi, the Rt. Rev. Francis Kaulanda.
The bishop articulated his developing vision for the diocese and his commitment to working creatively with priests and laity to serve the people. We were joined by Mothers’ Union leaders and Vicar General Fr. Michael Mkoko for a spirited conversation about how Love’s Harvest “One Village at a Time” program can be adapted for this diocese. Fr. Mkoko and the ladies of the Mothers’ Union will join us tomorrow at St. Michael’s for a Celebration of Permaculture and Anglican Collegiality!
